These Linzer tart cookies are the best Linzer cookies ever! Made with a simple, soft and buttery sugar cookie dough with no almond flour, and filled with a fresh cranberry Port wine jam.

Combine the cranberries, port wine, and sugar and cook until thick and jammy, then set aside to cool.

Make the sugar cookie dough and cut the rounds with a 2 1/2 inch cutter. Freeze until frozen solid.
