Make the cake batter, the distribute it into 3 8-inch cake pans. Bake at 350F for 18-20 minutes.
Once cool, roll the sides of each cake layer in cinnamon sugar and set them aside.
Fill the center of each layer with the dulce de leche, then pipe a ring of cream cheese frosting around the border.
Seal in the dulce de leche with a small layer of cream cheese frosting.
On the top of the last layer, top with more dulce de leche and dollops of cream cheese frosting. Enjoy!
