Chocolate Cardamom Muffins

These delicious, freshly baked muffins are packed full of mini  chocolate chips and warm and minty cardamom spice. The muffins have a soft and moist crumb like a bakery muffin!

Combine 1 cup flour, 3/4 tsp salt, 1 1/2 tsp baking powder, 1/2 tsp cardamom in a bowl together and set aside.

In a separate bowl, combine 1 egg, 4 tbsp melted butter, 1/4 cup milk, 1/3 cup sugar, 1 tsp vanilla and 1/4 cup greek yogurt.

Add 1/2 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips to the bowl of dry ingredients

Add the dry ingredients to the bowl of wet ingredients and mix just until combined.

Scoop the batter into 6 liners, top with brown sugar crumb and more chocolate chips.

Bake the muffins at 425 for 5 minutes, then lower the heat to 275 and bake for another 15-17 minutes.
