Brownies with Brown Butter & Espresso

A classic thick and fudgy brownie recipe made with brown butter and espresso powder.  They can be made with or without a stand mixer, and will impress anyone you share them with!

Add 2 sticks of butter to a light colored pan over medium high heat

the butter will start to foam, bubble, and pop! stir it every so often.

when the butter turns an amber brown color, its ready!

Add the butter to a bowl with 1 1/2 cups of dark chocolate chips

stir the butter and chocolate together until combined

Whip 1 1/4 cup of sugar and 3 eggs with the whisk attachment

The eggs will be light and fluffy after 2-3 minutes.

Pour in the chocolate then add 1 cup of flour, 3 tbsp cocoa powder, 1/2 tsp salt, and 2 tbsp espresso grounds

Pour into a lined 8x8 baking pan and bake at 325 for 45-50 minutes!
