Ingredients

You will need vanilla, butter, sugar, cream, milk, eggs, brioche, and spices.

Lightly toast or stale the brioche bread in the oven or overnight.

Then whisk together the sugars, cinnamon, nutmeg, cardamom, and salt.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, cream, and vanilla bean.

Assemble the slices of bread in a baking pan domino style and sprinkle with half of the sugar.

Then pour over the egg custard and sprinkle with the remaining sugar. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes covered then 10 minutes uncovered.

Dust with powdered sugar and serve with fresh fruit and maple syrup!
