Apple Cinnamon Chai Scones

These fresh and fluffy chai apple cinnamon scones are made with fresh apples, warm chai and cinnamon spice blend, baked to golden brown perfection, and then drizzled with a vanilla glaze.

Combine 2 cups flour, 1 tbsp chai spice blend, 1/3 cup sugar, 1tbsp baking powder, 3/4 tsp salt.

Use a spoon to create a well in the middle of the dry ingredients.

Add 1 cup shredded apple and 1/3 cup cold heavy cream and start to mix it into the flour.

Once the big dry pockets of flour are gone and the dough comes together, let it sit for 5 minutes.

Then press the dough into a 6 inch round cake pan as evenly as possible.

Shake out the dough round from the pan and cut it into 6 equal triangles.

Let the scones freeze for 15 minutes then brush with a bit of heavy cream.

Sprinkle the tops of the scones generously with cinnamon chai sugar and bake at 400 for 18 minutes.

Drizzle the cooled scones with vanilla glaze and enjoy!
